After three years of writing this blog post, I am still contributing a few times a month to one of the only blogs about Digital Asset Management (DAM) in the user and administrator perspective.
I created Another DAM podcast to create an audio version of Another DAM blog as a compliment and supplement. Most of Another DAM podcast are interviews with other professionals. Then, I found recording and editing a podcast is easier as well as faster than writing and editing a blog post. So I release a new podcast every Thursday.
Another DAM eBook is based on Another DAM blog. Version 1.0 is still requested regularly. Version 2.0 will be finished when I have more free time to edit, format and release it. No hurry.
As of 2012, I am closing DAM internships due to lack of interest.
After two years, I am also ending my DAM mentoring because of too much interest.
I am still invited to conferences, but whether I decide to go is another matter. I do not come to help sell tickets. I do not present to help fill rooms beyond capacity.
I share information about Digital Asset Management. That is why I began with Another DAM blog.

Today, Another DAM podcast is one year old. Another DAM podcast is a weekly podcast series about Digital Asset Management.
Creating 60 audio podcasts in the first year, this includes:
- 49 interviews with different professionals from different industries worldwide
- 8 of the top 10 blog posts from Another DAM blog, read by the author
- Available on 5 different distribution channels, including:
- Thousands of listeners over the past year
With this, content still rules in blogs and podcasts alike. Don’t just take my word for it. Listen to what other users, administrators and professionals have to say about Digital Asset Management. While seemingly more unimportant nowadays, business titles within an organization can sometimes explain a person’s functional role, authority, seniority and/or pay grade.
I have blogged about a variety of DAM titles used within the Digital Asset Management field, like Digital Asset Specialist (DAS), Digital Asset Management Manager (DAMMmmmm), DAM Director (DAMD), DAM VP or the title I have at this time… Digital Asset Manager.
I hosted a podcast where I interviewed someone who has a DAM title that will catch people’s attention. Instead of calling himself Digital Asset Manager, he was creative enough to come up with Darth Lord of the DAM and includes this on his business card.
Better than some other business cards I have heard of.
It sounds better than DAM lord. That is similar to another movie I saw. And he likely prefers it his way. No helmet required.
